INKBERROW racing trainer Tom Gretton has recorded his first victory of the new campaign.

Armedanddangerous produced a fine performance to get his head in front at Towcester racecourse on Saturday.

The seven-year-old gelding, running in only his second race over fences, made all in the novice chase contest when carrying top weight under jockey Felix De Giles.

The win is the horse’s second victory after previously claiming a novice hurdle last year. He was sent off 9/4 favourite and didn’t disappoint for owners The Beats Working Partnership.
