BOWLER Jonathan Summers was the star for Astwood Bank as his seven-wicket haul helped put already relegated Colwall to the sword in Worcestershire League Division One.
Summers took 7-49 as Colwall were dismissed for 146. Dan Thomas (2-11) and Andzej Jagielski (1-53) also took wickets.
But Astwood’s reply was erratic as they slipped to 78-5, before Thomas Harris (50 not out) built partnerships with Iain Morgan (13) and Jagielski (14) as Bank finished the season with a win.
Elsewhere in Division One, Redditch lost by eight wickets to Bromyard.
Despite 88 runs for Russell Southwick, the Kingfishers were kept to 211-9.
But Bromyard made 212-2 in reply, with Dinusha Fernando (75no) and Eral Anderson (76no) getting among the runs.
Feckenham escaped relegation in Division Two but Alvechurch and Hopwood fell through the trap-door.
Feckenham stayed up by a point ahead of their neighbours despite losing by four runs to Wormelow.
Matt Kings and Matt Henning took three wickets each as Wormelow were kept to 175-9.
Nick Fowkes top-scored with 32 as Feckenham were dismissed for 131. However, the four points they earned proved to be crucial as Alvechurch went down by nine wickets to Belbroughton.
The Church didn’t earn a single point after they were dismissed for 140, despite Steve Smith’s 49, and Bromyard replied with 143-1.
