REDDITCH sprinter Katrina Hart could not clinch a Paralympic medal as she finished sixth in the T37 100m final.

The Stock Green runner ended a high quality final in  sixth place overall in a time of 14.41 seconds.

The event was won by France's Mandy Francoie-Elie in 14.08s.

Hart, who is the defending 200m world champion, will be going for gold in the event on Wednesday, with the qualifying heats starting at 10.49am.
