Golden performances came from Polly Gerner and Julie Wakelam.

In what was Al-Daftary’s first championship, she was the sole competitor in the W35 Pole-vault and very narrowly missed out on a bronze medal in the 100m.
From the male contingent, David Carney showed the strength of his middle distance running, winning silver in the 800 metre, M70 category and running a very strong performance in the 400metres.
