ENTACO Bowls Club celebrated their 60th Anniversary combined with the official opening of their new pavilion. The pavilion, at Studley Sports and Social Club, Eldorado Close, was opened by Dorothy Mithell, clerk of Studley Parish Council, who unveiled a plaque dedicated to all the people who had helped in the construction of the pavilion.

Invited guests and past members enjoyed a full day of bowling, starting with a Target Bowls competition in the morning which was won by Helen Goodman and Peter Sollis.

In the afternoon a bowls competition was held and Maurine Smith and Derrick Pratt emerged as the winners.
