REDDITCH United will kick off life under new manager Paul Davis with a trip to AFC Rushden and Diamonds on the opening day of the season.

The Reds will visit Diamonds - a phoenix club that rose from the ashes of former Football League club Rushden and Diamonds - on Saturday, August 11.

United's first home game in the newly-restructured Southern League Premier Central arrives three nights later as they host Barwell on Tuesday, August 14.

Their first big derby of the season is set for the August Bank Holiday Monday (27th) when Redditch welcome Alvechurch to the Valley Stadium.

Redditch face a Christmas period away from home as they visit Alvechurch for the return leg of the derby on Boxing Day (Wednesday, December 26) and then head to Barwell three days later.

But they will begin 2019 at home with another big derby as they host Halesowen Town on New Year's Day (Tuesday, January 1).

The Reds round off their season with a trip to Halesowen on Monday, April 22, 2019 and a final-day home game against Leiston on Saturday, April 27, 2019.

Redditch will be looking to improve on the 14th-place finish they achieved under former boss Tim Harris last season.
