WORCESTER Warriors stepped up their preparations for the new Premiership season with a week-long training block in Spain.
Director of rugby Alan Solomons and his players flew out to Valencia on Sunday, July 8 for the camp before returning to Worcester five days later.
During their time in Spain Warriors' squad endured temperatures exceeding 30 degrees.
But Solomons and his new coaches Rory Duncan and Neil Doak were keen to put their men through their paces.
Francois Venter, Duncan Weir and Ashley Beck were among Worcester's summer signings who got the chance to work closely with their new team-mates and coaching staff.
Academy duo Ollie Lawrence and Ted Hill also attended the gruelling camp along with Bryce Heem and Ben Te'o who are overcoming small surgical procedures on their quad muscles.
Warriors are gearing up for their pre-season friendly against Benneton in Italy on Friday, August 10 (7.30pm).
They are also due to face Hartpury at Sixways on Saturday, August 18 while Solomons is planning for his team to take on Moseley in a friendly ahead of the upcoming Premiership campaign.
