FECKENHAM attempted to stage a formidable fightback but were finally subdued by league leaders Stourport following a low scoring affair in Worcester County League Division One.

Muhammad Idrees was the only Feckenham batsman to make much of an impression as his side were rolled out for 51 from just 21.1 overs.

Idrees provided 27 of that total as no other Feckenham batsman could manage double figures, five of them failing to trouble the scorer at all.

Wickets were evenly shared between Ryan Derrick, Charlie Foley, Greg Massingham and Craig Siwicki who all struck twice.

But what seemed a mere formality in reply proved anything but as Stourport struggled to reach their target.

Feckenham's in-form strike bowler Tom Coulson continued his cracking form with the ball by taking five for 23 from 4.3 overs and has now picked up 39 wickets so far this term.

Fellow opening bowler Matt Henning snapped up the remaining wicket to fall to finish with one for 31 as Stourport eventually scraped over the line on 54 for six - the entire match reaching a conclusion inside 30 overs.
