REDDITCH Cricket Club have resumed winter nets in readiness for their return to Birmingham League cricket this season.

Skipper Russ Southwick will continue to lead the side and said: "We are looking to recruit and trying to bring in an overseas player as well, but nothing has been finalised as yet.

Redditch are netting at Prince Henry School in Evesham every Sunday from 2pm until 4pm and welcome any new players to join them.

Southwick added: "We looking to run four sides every Saturday, so we're not just recruiting for the First XI and if anyone would like to be considered, just simply turn up to nets or they can contact me in advance on 07768 951795".
