FECKENHAM face a fixture backlog after their proposed clash with promotion prospects Montpellier was called off owing to a waterlogged pitch at Studley's Beehive ground.

Millers manager Aaron Blackwood admitted: "It was a game we were all looking forward to.

"We've got 14 weeks left in the season and a minimum of 18 games to play, but we believe we've got the squad to deal with that.

"We've done well this year, especially in cup competitions, which adds to that potential backlog, but we can't complain".

Blackwood has added Haden Smith to his side and is hopeful George Tolley will be back in contention soon after suffering a broken bone in his foot which he sustained last August.

Feckenham face Droitwich Spa this Saturday in the semi-finals of the Worcestershire Junior Cup at Studley Sports and Social Club's Entaco ground when kick-off is at the earlier time of 2pm.

The winners will face either Upton on Severn side Welland or arch rivals Fairfield Villa in the final.

At the same time Feckenham Reserves take on Inkberrow in the Worcester Minor Cup semi-finals.
