REDDITCH Borough remain 11th in Midland League Division Two after suffering a 4-1 reverse at home to fifth placed Smithswood Firs.
That was after Borough led 1-0 at half time through a Dave Phelan goal.
Smithswood struck back after the break with a couple of Chris Lloyd goals while Trea Bertie and Curtis Thomas were also on the mark.
Borough bid to bounce back this Saturday when they make the short journey to Barnt Green Spartak in the Presidents Cup.
