FECKENHAM pulled off a fabulous 4-3 win at promoted NKF Burbage to make it back-to-back victories in Midland League Division Two.

Burbage had stormed to the Division Three title last term without losing a game but were soon given a mountain to climb as Feckenham went 4-1 in front just ahead of the hour mark.

Jack Brimmell had been stopped in his stride when the ball was handled and Umit Eminoglu gave Feckenham the lead from the resulting penalty.

Feckenham increased the lead on 23 minutes when Eminoglu corner's found Donnelly, whose shot on goal fell kindly for Jordan Adams to rifle into the roof of the net.

Although Burbage managed to pull a goal back, Feckenham restored their two goal advantage before half time when Perry Holmes produced a looping cross to the far post where Danny Murphy leapt to head home.

A fourth goal followed on 58 minutes when Welsh released Brimmell, who in turn set up Eminoglu to drill home his second goal of the game.

Burbage pulled back two late goals from the penalty spot to set up a nervous finish.

Edwards was penalised for a mis-timed challenge to make the score 4-2.

But the third Burbage goal was hotley contested as Donnelly appeared to be pushed in the back when going up for a header and only handled the ball while trying to regain his balance.

Feckenham attempt to make it a hat-trick of wins when they travel to Earlswood Town on Saturday.
