THE deciding games in the Redditch and South Warwickshire Combination League produced some emphatic results. Following a 9-1 win by AFC Lions (including a hat-trick by Richard Tyler and two from Ian Wroe) they won Division 1 with 19 points, sending Lodge Park off the top to finish in second place with 17 points. SCC Redolence had to settle in third place with 13 points.

In the Premier Division New Woodland Cottage got their first three points after beating second place CBH Fasteners 4-2 with two goals by Adam Crombie.

In the other game Austin Ex Apprentices beat Golden Cross 18-4 with goals by seven players - eight by Andy Nicol, four by Liam Spink and two by Lewis Cosgrove.

Austin player Jamie Partridge announced that after 16 years he is to retire.
