ALEX Milton will return to the Worcestershire side for tomorrow’s Second XI Trophy North Group top-of-the-table clash with Lancashire at Neston.
The wicketkeeper-batsman has a window in his commitments with Cardiff MCCU which enables him to play in the 50-over encounter.
Milton, 21, recently scored three centuries in a 10-day period in Wales — two for the university and one for Cardiff CC.
He made his first-class debut last summer for the students against Hampshire at Southampton.
Joe Dodd has been behind the stumps in recent games for coach Kevin Sharp’s side.
Batsman Connor Dudley, who plays for Shifnal in the Birmingham League, will make his first seconds appearance of the campaign.
Dudley’s previous outing for the seconds was in a three-day friendly against Somerset at Taunton last April.
All-rounder Ross Whiteley is also part of the team after helping Rapids to seal a home semi-final in the Royal London One-Day Cup.
George Rhodes, who was part of the Rapids squad for the cup win at Derbyshire on Tuesday, returns to skipper the side.
The seconds won their opening four games in the competition but then lost by eight runs to Durham at New Road on Monday.
They have eight points from five games, one less than Lancashire and Yorkshire.
Worcestershire: Rhodes, Westbury, Kervezee, Hepburn, Whiteley, Dell, Milton, Malik, Twohig, Brown, Dudley.
