FECKENHAM finally returned to first team action with a 2-0 win over relegation candidates Hampton in Midland League Division Two.

The Millers took a late first half lead when Umit Eminoglu produced a clever lob over the Hampton defence for 18-year-old Adam Garmson to race through and slot home past the advancing goalkeeper.

Hampton had been reduced to 10 men by this stage after Ryan Edwards had been the victim of a head-butt.

Feckenham attempted to press home their one man advantage after half time with Ben Cox and Garmson both going close, before Feckenham themselves were reduced to 10 men after Edwards was dismissed for two yellow cards.

But Feckenham remained on the front foot and pressure told when Dan Williams released Jack Brimmell on the edge of the box, who danced past two defenders before rifling home.

Feckenham assistant boss Tom Davies said: " It wasn't a fantastic game to watch, we didn't play well but we came out of it with three deserved points."

Feckenham face a local derby this Saturday when they visit high flying Fairfield Villa.
