WORCESTER Warriors back-row forward Matt Cox has picked up December's player-of-the-month award.
The academy product was Warriors' stand-out performer in their European Challenge Cup double-header with Newport Gwent Dragons last month.
Cox becomes the first player to win the player-of-the-month award twice, after picking up the gong last season.
He scooped 36 per cent of the votes ahead of winger Dean Hammond (19 per cent), who also impressed in Europe and the Aviva Premiership during December.
Val Rapava Ruskin came in third position with 14 per cent of the votes while Dewald Potgieter, Josh Adams, Sam Lewis, Christian Scotland-Williamson and Will Spencer also received nominations.
