The Redditch Queenfishers stage their annual awards night this Friday when Scotland captain Tracey Balmer will be guest of honour.

The Queenfishers have cause to celebrate after finishing second in the North East Region and fourth in the Midlands.

Anyone attending the event could obtain some signed England Rugby items provided by Eddie Jones and Graham Rowntree with proceeds going to the injured players foundation.

Redditch Development Squad will be looking for Merit League success on Saturday when they face a tricky away trip to Evesham Thirds.

A change to the coaching structure at Redditch has taken place with first team coach James Shotbolt stepping down so he can continue working towards his level 3 coaching badge.

This has allowed his assistant Simon Fitzpatrick to step up until the end of the season.
