FECKENHAM fought their way to a 1-0 win at Bloxwich Town and climb to mid-table position in Midland League Division Two.
Ryan Edwards snapped up the only goal when he headed home from a 74th minute Ben Cox corner to seal the points.
Feckenham had earlier ridden their luck during a five minute period in the second half after Bloxwich twice blazed wide when it seemed easier to score.
Boss Aaron Blackwood was missing several key players for the clash with Bloxwich but was able to welcome back Scott Penlington following a long-term injury while new signing Brad Frain made his debut when coming on as a substitute.
Feckenham had enjoyed the better of first half exchanges and could have opened their account with Jack Brimmell and 17-year-old striker Adam Garmson both going close, while Ben Cox had strong claims for a penalty turned down.
The Millers have a local derby on their hands this Saturday when they host Fairfield Villa.
