REDDITCH RFC kept up there winning ways with a convincing 51-7 home win against Kings Norton in the North Midlands Vase Plate.

Redditch started the stronger side as early pressure took hold. Bryn Williams scored a well-worked try converted by Sam Gladwin.

The hosts kept the pressure on with more good work between the forwards and backs, allowing Ash Mohney to get on the score sheet with some strong running. Sam Gladwin also showed his pace grabbing a try for himself as well as another conversion.

Redditch were in complete control of the game as Bryn Williams scored again through great work created by the Redditch backs while the kicking of Sam Gladwin continued to add points, making the half time score 31-0.

The second half started strongly for Redditch, powerful scrummaging and good forward play dominated the Kings Norton forwards, allowing the Redditch's Bryn Williams to get his hat trick and Gladwin added the extras.

A penalty try was awarded to Redditch after foul play which Mark Green failed to convert.

Towards the end of the second half Redditch started to get a clumsy and two yellow cards were awarded.

Kings Norton took advantage of their extra two men and bagged a consolation try and conversion with the last play of the match.

Redditch's first XV have a week off before returning to league action away at Stoke Old Boys.
