FECKENHAM fought back from being 2-0 down to force a 2-2 draw at Solihull side Smithswood in Midland League Division Two.

Danny Murphy clawed a goal back with a looping header just after the half hour before George Tolley equalised on 72 minutes, again from a header, following an inch perfect pass from Max Tibbins.

Feckenham will embark on a revenge mission this Saturday when they travel to face Worcestershire rivals Droitwich Spa.

The Millers will belooking to avenge their recent Presidents Cup reverse when they lost out to Droitwich 1-0 just two weeks ago.

Player manager Aaron Blackwood confirmed: "We have a very young side this season and at the moment we're still looking to try and find consistency."

Blackwood will wait to see whether his midfield talisman Umit Eminoglu will be available after missing the Smithswood match through work commitments.

The player-boss added: "Umit is a key player for us as he dictates our play."

Blackwood will also wait on the fitness of injury victims Joe Nokes and Jamie Firkin
