ENTACO rounded off a wonderful week when clinching the Worcester County League Division Two title.

The Kingfishers then followed up by beating arch local rivals Feckenham to lift the Canterbury Cup Plate Trophy as well.

Having won the Worcestershire Over-45's trophy the previous week, the hat-trick of triumphs proved the club's first taste of success for 16 years.

Chairman Daren Field said: "It's been a fantastic week and we really hope it will help put Redditch Entaco on the map and attract more players to come and join the club.

"We're already the most integrated club in Worcestershire and we can only hope to build on that.

"However, we won't be sitting back, we're already planning for next season."

Redditch Entaco wrapped up the Division Two title with a four wicket win over Wormelow.

In a match reduced to 25 overs, Redditch restricted Wormelow to 105 for eight, Tom Phelan leading the way by taking four for 16 while Oliver Mason marked his first team debut by taking three excellent catches.

Redditch responded with a solid start, but then lost a cluster of wickets before Rizwan Chaudhry with 40 and Tom Field on 15 not out, steadied the ship and took the total to 106 for six with 22 balls to spare.

Redditch will be presented with their trophy during the interval of this Saturday's final game at home to Bromyard.

Rampant Redditch followed up with a compelling 117 run success over Feckenham on Sunday to capture the Canterbury Cup Plate played at Kidderminster CC.

Rizwan Chaudhry's century propelled them to a huge total of 246 for four from their allotted 20 overs.

He struck 110 off 51 balls that included 11 fours and eight sixes as he put Feckenham's bowlers to the sword.

Support came from skipper Gregg Chinn with 36 off 16 balls while Tom Field fired 53 not out off 27 balls, sending Feckenham's bowling to all parts of the ground.

After such a batting onslaught, Feckenham were never in the hunt when they replied, reaching a modest 129 for eight at close.
