REDDITCH race ace Trystan Finocchiaro continued his excellent form at Rockingham as he bagged two more podium finishes in the sixth round of the Moto Aprilia Challenge.

Finocchiaro boasted a proud record in junior Superteen racing last year, bagging four podium finishes in as many races in his rookie year of the highly competitive class.

Riding his 450 Aprilia, the youngster did not disappoint as he blasted his way to second, third and fourth-place finishes.

After a small crash in race one of the weekend, he redeemed himself around the challenging course.

Finocchiaro bagged his first ever podium in the 450 Asprilia series.

Starting seventh on the grid, he used a cool head and worked his way through a high-quality field in all his races, closing down a five-second gap.

One highlight was a perfect inside manoeuvre at the final bend to secure second place.

On a track where courage, skill, patience and persistence will provide the luck needed to deliver success, Finocchiaro showed all thequalities needed to keep his top-three bid alive.
