ALCESTER experienced highs and lows this week with some big wins and heavy defeats.
The first heavy loss came in Division Three of the Northfield League when Alcester went down by 51 shots to Ye Old Knowle.
In the S&W Birmingham Over-60s League the A team continued their march to promotion in Division 6 with a 22 shot victory at home to Wootton Hall B.
The B side returned to winning ways in Division Seven with a 12 shot success at King George VI.
In Division Two of the Yardley Wood Superleague brought a 33 shot defeat for the A team at Kings Norton B.
Alcester’s B team in Division Four hosted King George VI’s B team, winning by 51 shots.
A 47 shot loss befell the B team in the Heart of England Consolation Cup quarter-final against Olton Tavern A.
In the Heart of England League Division Two, the A team hosted King George VI A and secured an impressive 71 shot win.
The B team in Division Four suffered a nightmare as they went down by 62 shots at Tanworth.
