RSA Academy Arrow Vale School enjoyed a dream trip to Twickenham as they were honoured ahead of England playing Wales after graduating from the CBRE All Schools programme.

Arrow Vale adopted the scheme in 2013 and have since successfully engaged with girls and boys aged between 11 and 16 years old.

One hundred schools from across England were celebrated at Twickenham for helping to introduce more than 130,000 new students to rugby, thanks to completing a three-year programme developed by England Rugby.

Each of the graduating schools were awarded a personalised plaque presented by England rugby player Jonny May, to mark their individual achievements.

Arrow Vale introduced children to the sport by running rugby training sessions during curriculum time and after school.

Owen Binns, 14, had never been to Twickenham before but after two years on the CBRE All Schools programme at Arrow Vale, he was relishing the opportunity to visit rugby headquarters.

“I was buzzing to be there, I could barely sleep on Saturday night,” he said.

“It’s been great to be a part of the CBRE All Schools programme. It opens up a lot of opportunities for my school and all of the schools across the country.”
