Poole fills his boost as Redditdch record big win
SOUTH African batsman Cody Poole inspired relegated Redditch to a 122-run victory over Evesham in the Worcestershire League Division Two last weekend.
Poole struck 92 as the Kingfishers reached 203 all out.
Waqas Ali (3-25), Noman Choudry (2-19) and Tom Field (4-20) all took wickets as Evesham were dismissed for 81.
Redditch go to Lye on Saturday (1pm start).
Elsewhere, Alvechurch and Hopwood earned a losing draw against Wormelow.
Matt Deem hit 120 as Wormelow recorded 301-5 but some stubborn batting from Adam Markham Jones guided Church to 180-9.
Meanwhile, Feckenham saw off Bredon by nine wickets.
Bredon were dismissed for 131 but Dan Bloomer (53) and Luke Jackson (50) steered the Millers to 135-1.
