Seniors shine in Shirley
REDDITCH Golf Club Seniors, known as RAGS, took on Kings Norton and Shirley in two competitive matches.
At Kings Norton they did well to hold the home team to a 3-3 draw on difficult greens which had recently been hollow tined the visitors snatched a commendable result.
On Friday, RAGS ran out comfortable 4.5-1.5 winners in a match against friendly neighbours Shirley.
Outstanding for RAGS were the Vernon Harris and Jonathan Jones and Hari Nasta and Ted Keen pairings, both winning by considerable margins.
