Big weekend of boxing
ALCESTER School of Boxing’s Damen Webb takes on Telford’s Dan Oakland in a battle of big punching light heavyweights this weekend.
The fight is one of the highlights of the club’s Central England Junior Box Cup, which takes place at De Montfort Sports Hall Evesham.
On Friday, there will be ten Central England belt matches (7.30pm start), while on Saturday, juniors will be battling for the Box Cup (6pm start) and on Sunday sees the national schools northern semi-finals.
