REDDITCH are still waiting for their first win of the season in Worcestershire Division One but managed a losing draw against Bromyard on Saturday.
The Kingfishers won the toss and opted to bowl first but the hosts made 250-7 in 50 overs.
Waqas Ali (3-39) and Tom Field (3-35) continued their good form with the ball, while Mohammad Choudry (1-62) also chipped in.
For Bromyard, Ash Bullock (71) and Dinusha Fernando (84) were in good form.
Redditch got off to a stuttering reply, before showing resilience to earn a share of the spoils.
They lost captain Luke Davis (9), Field (1) and Russell Southwick (2) but the middle order rallied when Choudry (25), Jack Roberson (35) and Ghulam Moyhuddin (50) steadied the ship as Redditch reached 175-8.
Redditch now take on Burghill and Tillington at home on Saturday (noon start) looking to get off the mark.
