Pershore & Upton U-15s 17, Alcester U-15s 64

ALCESTER Under-15s ended finished their season with an easy convincing win.

Will Kelso opened the scoring when he ran in the game’s first try as the floodgates opened for the away side.

Conversions were going to prove challenging on this windy day but with unbelievable accuracy Harry Adams managed to convert seven of the tries scored with unerring accuracy from the most incredible angles today as his confidence with the boot continues to grow.

Oscar Holland and Steve Lowe scored more tries as Alcester went into half time leading leader 19-17, but they stepped up a gear after the break.

Adam Currien and Sam Sullivan both touched down and the pick of the seven tries in the second half was an individual effort from Cian Allen, which saw him break through at least three tackles and power to the line sprinting 65 meters to the try line.

Alcester are holding their annual charity day at King’s Coughton when they play Ex-Armed Forces and another unnamed side to raise money for Help for Heroes.
