Dangerfield disqualified in the final
REDDITCH judo star Laura Dangerfield was in the medals again after she reached the final of the North West Senior Open in St Helens.
A good start saw her power into the last eight of the competition and maximum points wins in the quarter- and semi-finals sealed a place in the final.
Up against a rival from the British Army she had already defeat this year, Dangerfield started well, but was disqualified for wearing a necklace, which is a technical offence, so she had to settle for a silver medal.
