YOUNGSTERS from Redditch and Alcester were in good form while competing for Worcestershire gymnastics academy.
Alcester’s Ethan Mathias won bronze at the West Midlands men’s artistic Regional Championships.
The club entered eighteen gymnasts into the tournament, which was held at the Gymnastics and Martial Arts Centre in Birmingham.
This was the fourth year the competition has been running with a full six piece competition on floor, pommel mushroom, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar the standard was very high with several stand out routines which gave the club 13 medals.
Redditch’s James Kirk and Jacob Thomas finished the competition in fifth and sixth places respectively.
