Copsewood 12, Alcester 34
ALCESTER recorded a welcome first away league victory in over a year, despite being forced into a number of personnel changes.
The Kings Coughton outfit were missing Ben Hope, Phil Birks and Tom Harris, while skipper Jack Green could only bench because of his foot injury.
Mika Pieri had broken his hand and prop Ant D’Amico pulled out in the morning of the game because of illness.
Stu Whitehead bagged a brace and Ryan Clark added a third as Alcester raced into a 17-5 lead.
Copsewood touched down but second half tries for Robbie Parker, Jack Green and Clark saw off the home team.
The seconds lost 34-0 to Claverdon Occassionals.
Alcester will host their annual fireworks and bonfire display on November 1.
