Kings Norton 57, Five Ways Old Eds 0
KINGS Norton opened their league campaign with a convincing nine-try victory over close neighbours Five Ways at Hopwood Park.
Kris Fenn crashed over after three minutes for the first of his two tries, with Shane Rees converting.
The hosts scored three more tries in a 30-minute spell to power to a 26-0 lead, with Jack Barwick, Ben Boyce and Dan Thomas scoring.
After the break, Kings began where they left off with Lee Chaney crashing over for a try but they soon became ragged and began to waste chances as Five Ways packed their close defence.
As Five Ways began to tire, Kings scored four tries, through Fenn, Thomas and brace for Chris Hands.
Kings have no league fixture next week while Five Ways entertain Redditch at home.
