FURIOUS Studley manager Adrian Mander has warned his players that the 'honeymoon is over' after watching them lose 4-2 to Racing Club Warwick.

Mander watched the Bees take a 2-1 only to lose focus and their tempers in a niggly game before conceding three goals in the second period.

The manager also had to take off Steffano Abonandi at half-time after getting booked.

Mander said: "It was awful. We were 2-1 up but we got involved in things we shouldn't and it cost us.

"I had to take Steffano off at half-time. He had been subject to a few bad tackles and had got himself booked so he came off as a precaution.

"But I knew ten minutes into the second half we were going to lose, we lost our discipline.

"It wasn't good enough. We had done well in our first couple of games and I had let it be but now the honeymoon period is over."

Studley still hope to bring in Feckenham defender Dave Edwards, who has returned from a holiday, and the club have put in a seven day approach.

Meanwhile, Studley are also set to bring in a defender with AFC Wulfrunians' Dan Parker or Bromsgrove Sporting's Toby Checketts interesting Mander.

They entertain Pershore on Saturday (3pm ko) and Lichfield City on Tuesday (7.45pm ko).
