ANGLING: Mark Franklin won Redditch Federation of Anglers Open match on Arrow Valley Lake with a haul weighing 21lb 9oz.
Runner-up Nigel Davis caught 17lb 14oz, just an ounce ahead of Paul Garner in third place, while Simon Chidler was fourth spot with 16lb 3oz.
Jubilee AC’s open on Saturday was won by Alan Neal with 89lbs 7ozs.
In second was Chris Taylor (72lbs 8ozs) and Stu Thomson was third with 54lbs 12ozs.
On Sunday, Rob Jones won Needles AC’s match on the river Alne at Great Alne with 4lbs 15ozs.
