LEE Adams has been named as Ross Thorpe's successor at Alvechurch.
The former Studley and Highate boss was handed the reins after impressing Church chairman Richard Thorndike on Monday night.
He replaces Thorpe, who handed in his resignation after Saturday's 3-2 defeat to AFC Wulfrunians in the FA Cup.
Under Adam's leadership, Studley were regular finishers in the Midland Alliance top five. He then guided Highgate to third-place last season before leaving for personal reasons.
However, he was keen to get back into action.
