REDDITCH-born Para-swimming star Claire Cashmore savoured double golden success at the IPC European Championships in Holland.
Cashmore produced a brilliant surge in the final 50 metres of the 100m SB8 breaststroke final and tie for first place with Russia's Olesya Vladykina in one minute and 20.93 seconds.
Reigning Paralympic and World Champion Vladykina had been leading at the half way stage but the Worcesteshire swimmer, who has adopted a new training regime, produced a storming finish in the Peter van den Hoogenband Stadium in Eindhoven.
"I really wish I was just that tiny bit faster," said Cashmore afterwards.
Then then wrapped up a successful tournament with a second medal in the medley relay as she teamed up with Amy Marren, Stephanie Slater and Stephanie Millward.
Overall, Team GB won 30 gold medals and finished third in the rankings with 73 overall behind Ukraine and Russia.
