Astwood Bank under-9s won their softball tournament.
ASTWOOD Bank Under-9s hosted the latest softball festival and won all three matches at the weekend.
The team were outstanding in all of their games, with some tight bowling and inspired fielding with wickets being shared around the bowlers.
They defeated Barnt Green, Earlswood and Avoncroft to end the weekend as top dogs.
Last season, the team finished runners-up and they will be aiming to make the finals day in August.
Ellis Browning, Harry Summers, Henry Gibson and Mia Cook all performed well on their debuts.
