STUDLEY’S hopes of a late push for the title suffered a set back after they lost 2-1 to Lichfield City.
The Bees paid the price for conceding a late goal.
Richardo Richards had fired them ahead at City but the home side hit back through Leon Morgan and Nicholas Harris, who bagged a 92nd minute winner.
It was the third match in a row where Studley have fallen foul of a last gasp strike.
They were denied victory over Brocton on April 15, they were held to a 1-1 at Earlsdon last Tuesday.
Studley were set to go to Stafford in the Midland Combination Premier last night (7.45pm ko) and entertain Coventry Copsewood on Saturday (3pm ko).
Despite having games in hand on almost all the teams above them, it is unlikely they will be able to catch up with Brocton.
