PERSHORE 24, KINGS NORTON 14
KINGS Norton’s relegation battle suffered a setback in the Midlands Division Three West (South) after they succumbed to a second half resurgence by Pershore.
Norton took the lead when Rob McGhee finished off a great drive to touch down with Shane Rees converting.
The visitors tackled ferociously and countered everything the home team threw at them but Pershore bagged a try just before half-time.
Kings might have thought they could continue to run the heavier forwards around but fell behind to three tries.
Gareth Johnson crashed over for his score, which was converted by Rees.
With no game on Saturday, Kings Norton look forward to welcoming Pinley at home on April 5.
