STUDLEY boss Paul Smith will see his injury hit team boosted by the return of several players for Saturday's clash at table-topping Brocton (3pm ko).

Charisma Agbonlahor and Ben Judd have both completed their three match bans and will be available for what is a key game or the Bees.

While Studley are fifth in the Midland Combination Premier they have a number of games in hand on the top four.

If they were to win the majority of them they would certainly be one of Brocton's main rivals for the top spot.

But they will have cope without reliable centre back Richard Lambert, who suffered a broken leg in last Tuesday's 1-0 win against Littleton, which looks set to rule him out for the rest of the campaign.

New signing Jovan Blake-Walker will start a two-game suspension after being sent off for abusive language or gestures in his final match for Pilkington XXX. Richard Deeming is als o set for a spell one the sidelines after damaging his arm.

Brocton have been the dominant force this season and have played less games than all the top five apart from Studley.

Smith said: "This is a huge game for us. I think everyone was waiting for Brocton to have a dip and to be fair to them they haven't.

"I thought they might find it tough at Southam but they won 3-0.

"But we'll go there and do our best and hopefully we can get a result."

Smith is hoping to bolster his defensive options with the addition of a new defender before Saturday's big game.

The likes of Nuneaton Griffin and in-form Bromsgrove Sporting will also be keeping their fingers crossed that Studley can end their five-game winning streak.

He said: "Losing Richard is a blow because he's an excellent player and of course Jovan is suspended.

"But Ben Judd and Charismas Agbonlahor are like-for-like replacements so that's a boost."

Richardo Richards bagged the winner last week as Studley edged out the Bees last Tuesday.

They held on for a good win despite the dismissal of Reece Hewitt for a two-footed challenge.

With no league game on Saturday, they routed Alcester Town in a friendly with goals for Richard, Blake-Walker, Tim Bradley and Sam Wills.

Studley play Earlswood at home next Tuesday (7.45pm ko).
