REDDITCH Ladies drew 4-4 with Badsey in Worcestershire Division One.

Braces for Ruth Waite and Jo Williams (2) secured a point in a topsy-turvy game.

Redditch will take on Stourport in next week’s match.

The seconds put up a great fight against Stourport sixths and came away with a respectable 1-0 loss.

With Julie Jones stepping in as goalie this week, the team showed spirit to battle through until the end.

With a quick lead in the first half, Stourport had the upper hand throughout most of the game with an unexpected shot from the top of the area.

Meanwhile, the men’s seconds defeated Wolverhampton 3-2.

The Kingfishers battled back from a 1-0 deficit at half-time.

A fine goal from Steve Dawes and one for Joe Haslam fired Redditch ahead and after Wolves levelled, Dave Baker bagged the winner. The thirds drew 1-1 to Solihull Blossomfield on Saturday, with Callum Pace firing them ahead.
