REDDITCH United Girls under-12s booked their place in the Mercian Junior Festival League Cup final after a fine 3-0 win over Evesham United Swifts on Saturday.
United had not kicked a ball in anger because of the rain which hit the football season hard in January and February.
They shook off their understandable rustiness to produce a fine display and power through to final with two well-taken goals.
Redditch will now play Warnden Village Wildcats, who currently sit at the top of the league in the final on Sunday, April 6 at Malvern Town Langlands Stadium.
Redditch are currently third in the table.
The team trains on Friday nights between 6pm and 8pm at Trinity High School.
