SQUASH: Redditch’s third team saw off their club-mates the seconds with a 3-2 victory in the Worcestershire League.
Wins for Matt Eades, Scott Brinkworth and Paul Kelly have put a dent in the second team’s promotion hopes, but also boosted the winning side’s relegation battle.
In Division One, Redditch have all but secured their place in the division for next season following a hard-fought 3-2 victory at home to Barnt Green. James Davies, Davey Banks and Mark Darby secured the win.
Redditch’s fourth team were without a match but remain in the hunt for promotion with three home games to finish the season.
