THE President’s XV were victorious at King’s Coughton as they defeated the Chairman’s XV 48-5 in Alcester’s Boxing Day clash.
Director of rugby Dave Marriott, leading the President’s side, won the initial battle of the day in the selection meeting for this game.
Jack Green and Ben Hansen were among the scorers in both halves as the President’s men ran in eight tries.
The Chairman’s XV scored with their last play of the game, through veteran Mick Weaver.
Alcester return the league on Saturday when they visit Atherstone (2.15pm ko) in the Midlands Division Four West (South).
