MID-TABLE continued Feckenham recorded their sixth draw of the season in Worcestershire League Division Two as they earned a share of the spoils against relegation battling Cookley.
The visitors had got among the runs by recording 300-6, with Mitch Taylor (98) and Paul Thomas (99) filling their boots, while Tom Coulson took three wickets for Feckenham.
The hosts replied by hitting 231-6, with Daniel Bloomer (75) and Josh Stacey (45) top-scoring.
Sam Stacey (17no) and Peter Monk (11no) ensured a draw with a seventh wicket stand of 32.
Feckenham go to Wormelow on Saturday and entertain Bewdley on Monday (both 1.30pm start).
n Alvechurch’s batting order were blown away by Aveley’s bowlers in Division Three defeat.
Opener Matt Hayward top-scored with 30 runs as the Churchmen were dismissed for 123 as Neil Turfford (4-30) and Rory Taylor (5-30) took almost all the wickets.
Despite Christian Battelley taking 5-41, Alveley made 124-9 in reply to win by one wicket.
Alvechurch go to Stourbridge Social on Saturday and then entertain promotion-chasing Avoncroft on Monday (both 1.30pm).
