REDDITCH kept their dream of a top two finish in the Worcestershire League Division One alive after seeing off solid Belbroughton.

Gregg Chinn also took two wickets as the home team were bowled out for 180.

“There was some rain around so I decided it would be better to bowl first,” said Derrick.
“It worked well but reaching 180 on that wicket was not easy. Henry batted well and it was great to see Dan get some runs.”

Field hit 90 for the seconds in their 181 run over Harborne.

Derrick added: “We’ve got five matches left and it’s important that we try and win them all.”
Redditch are currently fifth in the table but they boast a 41-point lead over Saturday’s opponents.
