Little Jimmy bags first win

HORSE RACING: Little Jimmy proved he has a big heart to get his nose in front for Inkberrow trainer Tom Gretton.

The six-year-old gelding recorded his first victory when winning a handicap chase in heavy conditions at Lingfield on Tuesday, February 12.

He tracked the leaders in the two-mile contest before hitting the front four fences from home.

He was joined by the eventually runner-up with three left to jump but was driven clear by jockey Felix De Giles to score by nearly four lengths for owners The Archers Partnership.
