AN entry of 43 teams are expected at the annual general meeting of the South Warwickshire and District Summer League.

The meeting will be held next Tuesday from 7.30pm at Bidford Bowling Club.

The competition, which contains teams from Alcester and Redditch, will remain at six levels with the Premier League and Divisions One to Five.

The men’s Doubles Dummer Tennis League covers the South Warwickshire and district areas of the Midlands, including parts of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire and also stages an inter-league Charity Cup Final between the winners of this league and the Winter League.

They are also running a Junior League which begins a month earlier in March and has increased for the third year in succession, it now boasts 24 team from 15 clubs.

The league are also looking for a new sponsor at the AGM, having lost Widney Sports.

One hundred pounds will be donated to the charity of choice of the team which wins the Charity Cup Final.

All clubs wishing to enter the league are required to send a representative to the meeting.
