REDDITCH Swimming Club returned to action in fine style as they claimed an emphatic victory in the first round of the PGL League.

Held at the Abbey Stadium pool, the hosts were in no mood to let their lack of competition effect their performance.

Training has been constant all through the break and it showed with Redditch dominating with 188 points as she finished ahead of Oldbury, Cheltenham and Warley Wasps.

They won 21 of their 60 individual races and 10 relay successes as well as boasting 20 personal best times.

Thirteen and 14-year-olds: Lewis Heal (PB), Amy Green (PB), Megan Mellors (PB).
